Collection: Gifts

This is the collection for whenever the occasion is not the point — the gift is. It draws from across the whole range: Ceramic Pot Candles, hand-cast and sealed in the studio before any wax is poured; Decorative Candles finished with dried alpine botanicals; Glass Jar Candles for something simple and reusable; and Ceramic Pots & Trays for anyone who would rather give an object than a scent. Every wax piece is made with 100% natural fragrance oils and lead-free cotton wicks, available across Floral, Vanilla, Citrus, and Freesia & Pear, so there is a scent for whoever you are buying for, whether they lean toward alpine meadow florals or something warmer and more fireside.

The thing that makes a gift from here different from most candle or home décor gifts is the ceramic work. Nobody else in South Tyrol hand-casts their own vessels the way we do: liquid ceramic slip poured into a mold, left to dry a minimum of 48 hours, sanded to a smooth finish, then sealed by hand so the porous ceramic can safely hold heat and wax. That process is what turns a candle into something closer to a keepsake — once the wax is finished, the pot is still worth keeping, as a planter, a trinket dish, whatever the recipient decides. It is the kind of detail that reads as thoughtful even if you never explain the backstory.

If you are choosing between pieces, think about what the person actually wants: a scent experience (candles), a lasting object (Ceramic Pots & Trays), or something for a specific celebration (Event Favours, wax or ceramic). Everything ships in branded Dolomites Glow packaging with its own custom decoration, so it already looks like a gift the moment it arrives — no extra wrapping required.

What is the best gift if I do not know the person's favourite scent?

Freesia & Pear and Vanilla are our most universally liked scents — delicate and fresh, or warm and comforting — and a safe choice if you are unsure. Ceramic Pots & Trays sidestep the question entirely since they are unscented.

Are these suitable for shipping as a gift to someone else's address?

Yes — every order is packaged in branded Dolomites Glow materials with custom decoration, so it arrives gift-ready without needing to be rewrapped.

What are the ceramic pots made of, and are they food-safe or waterproof?

They are hand-cast from ceramic slip, dried, sanded, and sealed with a heat-resistant sealant specifically so the porous material can safely hold wax and heat — they are made for candles and display, not for food or drink.
