Who we are

Dolomites Glow is a small artisan studio in South Tyrol, Italy. We make candles and ceramic pieces by hand, in small batches, in our studio in Laion. The business is owned and run by Oana Ivanus.

Acceptance of terms

By placing an order on this website, you agree to these terms. If anything here is unclear before you buy, get in touch first — we are happy to talk through it.

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. Completing a purchase means you confirm you meet that requirement.

Products

Everything we sell is made by hand. Small variations in colour, texture, and dimensions are normal — they come with the process. Product photos are as accurate as we can make them, but screen calibration varies.

Wax colour is off-white only. Minor air bubbles or surface variations may occur. All measurements are approximate.

We may discontinue products or adjust materials and finishes without notice.

Orders & payment

A confirmation email after checkout means we received your order — not that we have accepted it. Acceptance happens when we dispatch.

All prices include VAT. Payment is processed securely through Shopify. If we cannot fulfil your order for any reason, we will contact you and refund you in full.

Shipping & delivery

We ship within the European Union only. We do not currently ship to the UK, Switzerland, or countries outside the EU.

Orders are dispatched within one week of payment. Once dispatched, delivery typically takes up to one week, depending on your country and the carrier.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. We will send tracking information when your order leaves the studio.

We are not liable for delays caused by couriers, customs, or anything outside our control. If a package is lost or arrives damaged, contact us straight away and we will work to resolve it.

Returns & refunds

You can return an order within 30 days of receiving it. To be eligible:

  • The item must be unused and in its original condition
  • It must be in its original packaging, unopened
  • You must contact us at info@dolomites-glow.it before sending anything back

Return shipping is at your cost. Once we receive and check the item, we will process your refund within a few business days. We do not accept returns on sale items or anything that has been used, opened, or is no longer in original condition.

Custom & event orders

Wedding favours, baptism bonboniere, and any other personalised orders are made specifically for you. They are non-refundable once production has started.

We will confirm all details, quantities, and timelines with you before we begin. Once you approve and we start production, changes may no longer be possible. If the mistake is ours, we fix it. If you are unsure about quantities or specifications, please ask before confirming — we would rather slow down than get it wrong.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — photos, text, product names, the logo — belongs to Dolomites Glow. You are welcome to share our content online with credit, but you may not reproduce, sell, or use it commercially without written permission from us.

Limitation of liability

We make everything with care and stand behind what we sell. That said, we cannot be held responsible for:

  • Damage or injury from misuse of our products
  • Losses caused by delivery delays outside our control
  • Indirect or consequential losses of any kind

Our liability is limited to the value of the order in question. Nothing here removes rights you have under Italian consumer protection law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Italy. If you are a consumer in another EU country, you also have the right to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
