Collection: Baptism Favors

Made entirely by hand in Val Gardena — hand-cast ceramic figurines and naturally scented wax pieces, each one packaged properly. Small batches, real attention to each piece. The kind of thing that ends up in a memory box rather than a bin.

A baptism happens once, and the favours you hand out afterward are often the only physical trace of the day that survives past the week itself. This collection holds two very different ways of marking that: Ceramic Event Favours, hand-cast and painted bomboniere figurines with no two quite alike, and Wax Event Favours, small scented pieces finished with dried alpine botanicals and dressed in branded Dolomites Glow packaging. Both are sized for a table setting, a guest bag, or a quiet thank-you placed beside a name card.

What makes these different from favours sold by the box at a party shop is the process behind them. Every ceramic piece starts as liquid slip, poured into a figurine mold in the studio and left to dry for a minimum of 48 hours — no shortcuts, no accelerants. Once cured, it is sanded by hand to a smooth finish and painted one piece at a time, which is why the collection reads as handmade rather than manufactured: a faint variation in glaze, a slightly different angle of a wing or a petal, proof that someone actually made it. The wax favours follow their own slower path — wick, preheated mold, poured scent, botanicals pressed in by hand — all built in the same studio in Val Gardena, in the Dolomites, South Tyrol.

Choosing between the two usually comes down to what you want the guest to do with it. Ceramic bomboniere are kept — on a shelf, in a drawer, sometimes for years. Wax favours are used — lit, burned down, enjoyed, and then kept anyway if they came in a jar or pot. Either way, nothing here is an afterthought bought in bulk; it is artisan work made for one specific, important day.

Are these favours customizable for a specific baptism date or name?

Reach out to us directly with your date, colour preference, and quantity — because every batch is cast and finished by hand, we can tailor details like botanical choice or ceramic finish to suit your celebration.

Do the wax favours come in a specific scent for baptisms?

Wax Event Favours are available in all four of our natural fragrances — Floral, Vanilla, Citrus, and Freesia & Pear — so you can match the scent to the season or the tone of the day. Ceramic Event Favours are unscented by design.

What are the ceramic favours made from, and are they safe to handle?

Each one is hand-cast from liquid ceramic slip, dried for at least 48 hours, sanded smooth, and painted by hand — fully cured and safe to display or handle. They contain no wax or scent.

How far in advance should I order baptism favours?

Because every piece is handmade in small batches in our Val Gardena studio, we recommend ordering as early as possible, especially for larger quantities — please contact us ahead of your date to confirm timing.
