Thanksgiving is a table holiday before it is anything else, and this collection is built around that — pieces meant to sit among the plates and the candles already lit by the time everyone sits down. It centres on Ceramic Pot Candles, hand-cast in the studio and poured with Vanilla or other grounded, warm fragrances that suit a room full of people and food, alongside Decorative Candles dressed with dried botanicals for place settings or a mantel, and Ceramic Pots & Trays for anyone setting the table without wanting an open flame near the centrepiece. All four natural scents — Floral, Vanilla, Citrus, and Freesia & Pear — are available across the wax pieces, though Vanilla tends to fit the season best: rounded, comforting, close to the smell of a mountain kitchen in late autumn.

The ceramic vessels are what separate these from anything bought off a shelf at the last minute. Each pot begins as liquid ceramic slip, hand-poured into a mold here in Val Gardena, left to dry for a minimum of 48 hours, then sanded smooth and sealed by hand before any wax goes in — a necessary step, since raw ceramic is porous and would not otherwise hold up to heat or wax. It is slow work on purpose, and it means every pot carries small, honest variations that mass-produced tableware never will. Once the candle has burned through, the vessel still earns its place on the table — as a small bowl for nuts, salt, or trimmings, long after the holiday is over.

For hosts, these work as the finishing touch on a table already set with care. For guests, a candle or small ceramic piece makes a considered hostess gift that does not feel like an afterthought picked up on the way over.

Will Thanksgiving orders arrive in time if I order close to the holiday?

Because everything is handmade in small batches, we recommend ordering as early as you can rather than the week of — reach out to us if you need your order by a specific date.

What scent works best for a Thanksgiving table?

Vanilla is the most requested for its warm, grounded character, though Citrus is a good option for a brighter table alongside richer food.

Can I use these candles as part of the table setting while people are eating?

Yes, but always keep them on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable items like napkins or centrepiece greenery, trim the wick to 5mm before lighting, and never leave a burning candle unattended at the table.

Are the ceramic pieces good as a hostess gift on their own, without a candle?

Yes — our Ceramic Pots & Trays are sold as standalone hand-cast pieces, with no wax or scent, for exactly that kind of gift.
