Wax Event Favours

Made by hand in small batches for weddings, baptisms, and celebrations. Each piece is scented with 100% natural fragrance oil and finished with dried botanicals — small enough to slip into a bag at the end of the night, and made well enough to be worth keeping after. These are wax bomboniere built the way everything at Dolomites Glow is built: one piece at a time, in the Val Gardena studio, with nothing mass-produced and nothing left as an afterthought.

The process starts with a wick set into a mold, which is preheated so the wax adheres properly before it's poured. Once the wax is in, we add any decorative layers or dried botanicals the piece calls for, then package it in branded Dolomites Glow packaging with custom decoration suited to the event. All four natural scents are available — Floral, Vanilla, Citrus, and Freesia & Pear — so favours can be matched to the season, the venue, or simply what the couple or family likes best. Every favour uses a lead-free cotton wick and is entirely vegan and cruelty-free, which matters to a growing number of couples choosing gifts for their guests.

What makes these different: most wedding and baptism favours are bought in bulk from a catalogue. These are poured individually, in small batches, in South Tyrol — which means quantities, scents, and small decorative touches can be adjusted to suit the event rather than the other way around. If your celebration has a colour palette, a season, or a particular feeling you're after — alpine, rustic, soft and floral — the botanicals and finish can be matched to it. For couples who want something with more presence, our Ceramic Event Favours (hand-cast, dried for 48 hours, sanded and painted by hand) offer the same personal, artisan approach in a different material — worth browsing alongside this collection if wax isn't quite the right fit.

Choosing scent and finish usually comes down to the season and the setting: Citrus and Freesia & Pear suit a summer or outdoor wedding, Vanilla suits an autumn or winter celebration, and Floral works nearly anywhere. Dried botanicals can be chosen to echo a bouquet or a venue's own greenery.
