Sasso means stone in Italian, and the texture on this ceramic pot makes that connection literal. The exterior is cast with a bubble surface, uneven and tactile, the way limestone looks up close: full of small depressions worn in by weather. Inside, the wax is decorated with ranunculus pressed into the surface. Everything made from scratch in the Val Gardena studio. The texture makes it interesting to hold and reads differently from every angle. After the wax is done, it holds small stones from a mountain walk naturally.
